Hello!
I'm Adarsh Nandanwar.
I am a graduate student pursuing my Master's degree in Computational Data Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Currently looking for internship and full-time opportunities for 2025.
I have previously worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft where I contributed towards building the Azure Core Storage platform, including Azure Blob Storage and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2, which are Microsoft's cloud storage solutions offering highly available, massively scalable, durable, and secure storage for a variety of data objects in the cloud. With a proven track record, I've played a pivotal role in designing and implementing critical features, specializing in software development, large-scale distributed systems, system design, and cloud computing.
My research interests involve Machine learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Reinforcement learning. I have published 2 papers on Adversarial Machine Learning and Malware Detection in reputed journals and conferences.
I graduated from BITS Pilani with a B.E. in Computer Science (Batch of 2018-22). I love software development and have worked on full-stack web development, machine learning, and reinforcement learning projects which can be found on my GitHub.
Over the course of my career, I've demonstrated my capabilities as a key contributor to Microsoft, excelling in roles that demand a deep understanding of complex systems. Through my internships at JPMorgan Chase & Co. (Quantitative Research), Microsoft (Azure Networking), and Samsung R&D (Applications R&D), I've honed my skills in Finance, Research, Networking, Android Application Development, and more.
Proficient in languages including C, C++, C# (C-Sharp), and Python, and equipped with expertise in REST APIs, Azure, AWS, Git, SQL, and Kusto Query Language (KQL), I am dedicated to driving innovation and delivering impactful solutions. My diverse project portfolio reflects my knowledge and interests in full-stack web development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, reinforcement learning, and language models. I also love competitive coding and am proficient in C++.
